08 September 2010 07:00 - 09:30 - MEGA Breakfast - Witney, Banbury, Bicester & Chippy join forces again

Once again Chipping Norton's 729, Banbury Business Breakfast, Bicester Breakfast and Witney's BIGGER Breakfast Clubs join forces for a combined networking breakfast.

This time Chipping Norton plays host in a marquee at The Lido where 729 founder Ken Norman is a Director/Trustee.

On Wednesday 8 September The Lido will be open from 6am so, if you wish, you can go for a reviving early-morning swim before breakfast. Tickets for the event will cost £18 with profits going to The Lido (Charity No 111389.) Chairs will be provided!

To book for this event simply go to http://megabreakfast.eventbrite.com/

The Club has landed a great speaker in Guy Browning.

Guy is the revered business guru who leads Smokehouse where other creative agencies have feared to tread or have trod and rapidly disappeared (presumably because they didn't like what they trod in.)

He was a copywriter at advertising agency DMB&B (where he penned the line, "Delicious Meaty Chunks in a Nutritious Gravy"), Creative Director of the Value Added Company.

He's been a long time columnist for The Guardian. His books, collections of his Guardian columns, "Never Hit a Jellyfish with a Spade" and "Never Push When it Says Pull", were bestsellers. Other publications include his autobiographical "Maps of My Life" which starts in Chipping Norton where he was born. He has recently finished his first film "Tortoise in Love," tagline: "He likes you. He's just a slow mover..." which he wrote, directed and filmed in his home village of Kingston Bagpuize.

Having also enjoyed a career as a stand-up comedian Guy is a sought after speaker at many a business conference.

You may also be interested in a couple of other events The Lido is hosting;
- its annual Auction of Promises with auctioneer Jeremy Clarkson on 3 September
- two days for Emma's Trust - a Media-Mix Evening on 10 September & the ever popular Emma's Day Festival on 11 September.
